Description :
Meteorological observations acquired on OMIV landslides using a standardized protocol (6min, 15 min, 30 min, 60 min) according to the measured parameters and transfered in a Ascii standardized file format with the file database management system BD-OH OMIV. Estimation of potential evapotranspiration and effective rainfall from the meteorological observations.

Data acquisition methods :
  • Observational data :
Meteorological parameters measured at 1.00 m elevation at the OMIV landslides. For some landslides, several meteorological sites are available. The recorded parameters are, for each site, the rainfall amount, the atmospheric pressure, the air temperature, the relative air humidity, the wind speed and direction, and the net radiation. For some sites, additional parameters such as snow depth is recorded. The recording frequency is variable, from 6 min for the rainfall data, to 15 min or 60 min for the other parameters. Data are stored locally in the dataloggers and then transmitted to the Data Center. Raw data are quality-controlled, converted in an ASCII -txt file format and stored in the OMIV BD-OH data repository for an esay processing by the users.
