Description :
Majors, traces elements and 87Sr/86Sr ratio of Cretaceous limestone (Hauterivien) and Quaternary marls (two samples). The limestone was sampled in the Frasne-Bouverans syncline at proximity of the Forbonnet pealtand (Complexe tourbeux de Frasne-Bouverans). The marl was sampled in the underlying sediments of the Forbonnet peatland.
Data were acquired in the framework the the ISOTOPEAT project.
Disciplines :
environmental sciences (sciences of the universe), geology (sciences of the universe), geosciences, multidisciplinary (sciences of the universe), water resources (sciences of the universe)

General metadata

Data acquisition date : Jun 2020
Data acquisition methods :
  • Observational data :
Sampling on the field, preparation at Chrono-Environnement (PEA2T platform) and analyzes at IPGP (High Resolution Analytical Platform (PARI).

For each sample, analyzes were realized on rock solutions. Rocks solutions were realized successively with solutions of increasing acidity (H20, acetic acid, HCl) in order to extract a specific mineral phase during each of these attacks.
The analyzes were then carried out on the residue of these 3 attacks put in solution with HNO3 and HF.
