Description :
This project is in line with one of the major historical scientific theme of the Biogeosciences laboratory: the study of morphological evolution analyzed in the light of ontogeny. By building the first comprehensive corpus of terrestrial gastropod protoconchs, the aim is to stimulate numerous research projects in evolutionary biology and paleontology, as well as to acquire original observational data and enhance the valorization of natural collections.
Disciplines :
biodiversity conservation (applied biology - ecology), anatomy & morphology (fundamental biology), developmental biology (fundamental biology), microscopy (fundamental biology), paleontology (sciences of the universe)
