About
About the dat@UBFC portal ?
The dat@UBFC portal, which went online in 2020, was designed from the dat@OSU portal for the development of research data from the OSU THETA.
It is a federation of portals of UBFC institutions, laboratories and research structures: each sub-portal presents data
from scientific research conducted in the various UBFC components. Open to all, and particularly intended for the scientific community,
it provides free access to a certain amount of data.
It is therefore part of the Open Research Data dynamic, promoted at the international, European and French levels.
The last update of the portal took place on : 30/06/2022.
What does the dat@UBFC portal allow ?
dat@UBFC aims to be a platform open to all with the following objectives :
- to promote the dissemination and reuse of research data, among other things through the assignment of DOIs,
- increase the visibility and access to the data thanks to their detailed description (metadata sheet) validated by documentalists,
- provide structured metadata according to international standards (Dublin Core, DataCite), which use controlled vocabularies, in consultation with the data producers.
The information describing the data is subject to the control of their suppliers to ensure the best possible reliability. They will respond to your requests, sent from the portal, concerning the described data.
Contribute
The description of data is reserved for UBFC personnel registered on the portal (registration form). The dat@UBFC team of documentalists assists data providers in describing their data (appointment). data (making appointments). dat@UBFC is continuously being improved; you can report any problems to us.
Share
The portal is interoperable with existing external services (Isidore and DataCite) allowing the described data to be re-exposed to the outside world. This interoperability will be extended to other services (Data Gouv search).
