About our web portal, catalog of the dat@UBFC "Atelier de la donnée"

This portal, online since 2020 and updated in July 2022, is the catalogue of UBFC research data. It comes from the dat@OSU portal, which was the historical catalogue for the OSU THETA research data.

It is a federation of portals for UBFC institutions, laboratories and research structures: each sub-portal presents data produced by scientific research in UBFC.

Open to all, it is however particularly dedicated to UBFC scientific community.

It is part of the Open Research Data dynamic, at international, European and French levels. At the local level, its use is recommended in the Open Science roadmaps of UBFC member institutions.

Objectives of the dat@UBFC portal

  • inventory the research data produced by the UBFC scientific community
  • promote the re-use and citation of research data, thanks to the assignment of DOIs
  • increase the visibility and access to the data thanks to their structured and standardised description (metadata sheet) checked by data librarians

The researchers are responsible for the quality of the data described on the portal and are in the best position to answer your requests about these data.

Describe data

Describing data on our web portal requires to be a UBFC member registered on the portal (registration form).
The data librarians of the dat@UBFC team support data providers in the description of their data (making appointments).
The portal's computer code is constantly being improved; if you have any problems or suggestions, please contact the team.
