Analysing the methods of selection, manipulation, assembly and rejection of metal artifacts and instrumentum in the protohistoric and antique sanctuaries of Central-Eastern Gaul;
Characterizing ritual practices and provide deeper understanding of the socio-cultural factors involded in the evolution of religious practices and conceptions at the end of the Iron Age and in Roman times;
Identifying local specificities and particularities by testing the material from a typological, chronological, qualitative, quantitative and sociological point of view;
The data focus 1/ on a major site, Mirebeau-sur-Bèze (FR-21), which provides artifacts sets and valuable contextual data 2/on a corpus of 59 construted sanctuaries mainly distributed between Burgundy, Franche-Comté and Southern Champagne
