Description :
Raman spectra (693) of extracellular vesicles derived from HMEC-1 cells exposed or not to Benzo[a]pyrene (B[a]P). Data were collected with a Raman microscope on 2 samples exposed to B[a]P and 3 samples control, and preprocessed (baseline correction, normalization). - Experimental data : This dataset comprises 693 Raman spectra, themselves comprising 1531 decimal numbers (arbitrary units). Two vectors are added: one of 1531 decimal numbers (from 449.6 to 3400.1 cm-1) for the Raman shift and one of 693 character strings for the labels.
Raman spectra were measured on extracellular vesicles (EVs) from HMEC-1 cells, adsorbed onto a gold chip. Some cells were exposed to a poly-aromatic hydrocarbon: benzo[a]pyrene (B[a]P). Data were taken at several ROIs (3 um steps) on the different biochips, 3 biochips with EVs from exposed cells (“BaP” label) and 2 biochips with EVs from unexposed cells (“control” label). A 532 nm laser was used, with a power of 10 mW and an exposure time of 200 ms, with 50 accumulations.
Spectra were pre-processed, removing the baseline by arPLS, and normalizing to have a mean intensity of zero between 1900 and 2500 cm-1, and a mean intensity equal to 1 between 2835 and 2970 cm-1.
